It’s Time To Change How We Do Absolutely Nothing

The ASUC results were announced last night, and about 99 percent of the campus breathed a huge sigh of relief.
In a surprising shift, three of the four candidates in the CalSERVE executive slate won the student vote in the ASUC elections, according to the preliminary results. CalSERVE Senator Van Nguyen was elected president, Senator Taylor Allbright was elected executive vice president and party member Daniel Montes was elected external affairs vice president. Student Action Senator Curtis Lee was elected academic affairs vice president, and the current Student Advocate’s chief of staff Ajay Krishnamurthy was elected student advocate.
We wonder if our extremely meticulous ASUC Election previews had anything to do with how the candidates fared, since most of our (scandalous?) photos were of Student Action representatives. We seriously thought that kiss would push Ilana over the top, or at least into some tasteful video shoots. Then again, no one reads this site yet. If only we started up a few weeks earlier, THEN maybe it would have made a difference. Probably not.
Oh wait, I’m talking as if I give a damn. Whoops.
