You know, it figures the best basketball player to come out of Cal would end up being socially screwed up.
Page Six won’t leave Jason Kidd alone: This morning’s column has an item on the Net cavorting with a “hot young model” in NYC last weekend. Page Six’s source also reports that Kidd has “a different woman in every town now.”
Hardly a surprise, if Kidd’s estranged wife Joumanna’s divorce filings are to be believed. Two months ago, Joumanna said Jason had bagged a handful of TV reporters (assumedly not Ahmad Rashad), had strippers on call in several NBA cities, and even had a relationship with a cheerleader in New Orleans.
Honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised if any Cal male became a sexpot after graduation, considering the supposed horrible comparative quality of women here (although we never understood that–girls here aren’t bad at all). We’re just wondering whether all those blown kisses he did during games were actually for his wife. Or whether he just stared at the hottest chick in the fifteenth row behind the rim, and decided, “She’s mine.”
Well, if I don’t have to see the Kidd family every ten minutes in a Nets playoff game…I can live with that.
