Discussing the ClusterF$!k in the White House

When two of our favorite people ever decide to rendezvous, we always consider it an important event worth noting. So when Bill Moyers and Jon Stewart decided to get together and discuss the important issues of the present, well, we couldn’t pass up sharing the video with you.

It’s a fantastic interview, with the usually straight-shooting Moyers almost completely overawed by the presence of the Daily Show maverick, but still able to generate plenty of enlightening discussion about current events that most of the American general media couldn’t fathom debating. The clips from the McCain interview with Stewart are a revelation–watching McCain shrivel under Stewart’s pressing arguments seems to be the first step of something bigger in unraveling the political machine.

It almost makes us wish we could get more glimpses into Stewart’s serious side, to figure out what exactly his stances are on most issues. Instead we have to watch him crouch in fear from the talking head of Brian Williams. Kinda corny, but ironic Stewart is probably more palatable to the American audience than serious Stewart. Then again, the Bush Administration has practically retired irony.
