John Woo is Set to Direct Bruce Willis’s Hollywood Rampage

Bruce Willis has taken time off from hanging off skyscrapers and pirouetting onto helicopter ladders to blast his brethren for espousing their grand causes.

BRUCE WILLIS is fed up with listening to outspoken actors – and believes their opinion shouldn’t mean “jack s**t” to the general public. The Die Hard star understands some of his colleagues want to do good for various causes, but wishes others would keep their thoughts to themselves. He says, “I don’t think my opinion means jack s**t, because I’m an actor. “Why do actors think their opinions mean more because you act? You just caught a break as an actor. There are hundreds – thousands – of actors who are just as good as I am, and probably better. “Have you heard anything useful come out of an actor’s mouth lately?” He adds, “Although I liked George Clooney’s documentary on Darfur.”

We always liked Willis for his honesty and clairvoyance, two characteristics that you rarely see out emerge from America’s cesspool. Most of the phonies have dopey causes in Hollywood that they hang onto because it’s hip and cool in mainstream culture, often some crap that they wouldn’t give a damn about if it didn’t mean it’d peddle more popularity/sales for them.
He isn’t immodest about the failures of the Hollywood he works in either.

He recently blew all lame-ass manners out of the water by owning up to the truth about Perfect Stranger, his recent bomb with Halle Berry. Here’s what he said on an Ain’t It Cool News message board:

“Perfect Stranger was ruined by the producers. Oddly enough, that film was meant to be a hard R rating, but when all the things that were meant to be in it were cut, EXCEPT for the f–ks, they got a PG-13 rating. Weird, right? I was disappointed with that film, and I agree with your opinion of it. Everyone tried hard, worked hard, but it was not to be.”

If we ever go mainstream, Bruce Willis is the first guy on our interview list.
