What, No Makeout Rooms in the Library? Thou Protests

We all hate surveys. We hate how we’re lured into answering these endless crappy questionnaires when we know our voice will be heard, noted, and discarded. So it comes as no surprise that the UC Berkeley Library wants your opinion on how they can improve our Stacks.

We pretty much think that the only thing that could be improved about the Stacks is that they should be open. Always. Forever. We’re willing to sacrifice many things for this development to happen Just put the staff in to man the Stacks at night. Our schedule should not be dictated by a simple 9 am-2 am schedule. We should be able to choose the time we go to the library and pretend to study. It’s the American student’s way.

And if all else fails, demand lovepads, a bar and a secret poker room. Satisfy the needs of the academically burnt-out students out there and give us a place to mingle. Coffee at FSM just makes us all ornery and antsy.
