Student Special: The Republicans, Dominating Cal As Usual

Everyone takes for granted that Berkeley is a liberal heathen town that would slaughter elephants like game poachers, but try telling that to the Berkeley College Republicans, who have impressively mobilized to dominate the oh-so-important political world of Cal. Especially since no one ever knows where those fifty-three electoral votes will go in November. So conservative pundit Larry Kudlow was quick to glee over this decisive advantage by setting up an interview with both the BCR and the overmatched Cal Dems.

We have no idea who won this debate (it was a debate right?), but in terms of something more important to us–website savvy–it’s embarrassingly one-sided. BCR has their own site (their logo is revealing of which type of Republican they flout) and the Cal Patriot. Cal Dems have something called Smart Ass, which we guess they thought was pretty hip and trendy. Sort of like Mike Gravel staring into your soul. Deep.
