The Extreme Right and Left, United Against Israel
You might have seen some brief mentions in the paper about some racist flyers found in the general vicinity of Berkeley. Strangely enough, despite the brief brouhaha that these articles generated, there has been little subsequent coverage or follow-up onto what exactly any of the articles mean.
Well, Zombietime is as usual on top of things.
This is a freezeframe taken from the KTVU report. Because of the low resolution of the video, and because the flyer is wrinkled and not lying flat, the words are not completely clear. But by cross-referencing this image with the one shown below, the entire message can be discerned. It says:
JOIN the UNITED STATES ARMY and FIGHT for ISRAEL …
Now, there’s no question that these materials were produced by the extremist right-wing anti-Semitic group called White Aryan Resistance. Their name and address are visible on the material. And there’s no question that the message they’re promulgating is a racist, hateful conspiracy theory.
Which makes it all the more shocking to realize that the EXACT SAME MESSAGE is also frequently stated by the anti-war “Left.”
Not exactly too shocked here. Jews seem to always get the shaft from diehard zealots on either side. Either they’re unrecognized foreign occupiers on one side or despicable vermin on the other. Their common cause seems to be in their thinking that they’re greedy, self-serving capitalist pigs. It’s a no-win position for the Jews–if you’re trying to cater to the extremist vote in November. Thankfully our country has not quite devolved to that point yet.
One comment from the original story did amuse us though.
One southeast hills resident who asked not to be identified was less upbeat: “This is dangerous to all of us,†she said. “It makes me ashamed. We have learned nothing. It might as well be 1933.â€
Yeah, seriously, because these articles represent the whole nation’s thought processes about Jews. I wouldn’t be surprised if that same resident showed up with granola bars at one of those “No Blood for Oil” rallies. Peoples better think before they speak.
