Goodbye…and Hello
Most of you are probably hightailing your way out of Berkeley or drowning yourself in booze galore to ensure maximal amnesia of the past ten days. This place has eaten you alive and you want no part of it anymore. Making baristas for assholes sounds thousands of times better to most of you than taking Chem 3A/Bio 1B/Physics 8A next fall.
Bears Necessity will be going on summer break too. Well, sort of. We’ve been writing consistently the past two months, so we figure some people should be reading by now. We’ll still be writing through the summer, although somewhat haphazardly because it’s summer, and spending it indoors sounds like too much fun for our unstable hearts. We’re looking for other Cal students to help us keep the pace steady though–if you’re interested in helping us out, write to us in our Contact Form with the subject line “Writers Apps.” Provide us a sample of your writings/blog(s) and we’ll let you know hopefully by mid-June if there’s a spot for you.
If no one responds, then we’ll start throwing random stuff in here. Maybe just post our insane drunken 3 AM ramblings. It’ll be fun. Enjoy the beginning of your long summer.
