As the semester gets shorter, so do the list of notable events. I actually have to list special academic lectures today. Go figure.

Lawson Lecture Series–The Parkfield 2004 Earthquake: Lessons From the Best-Recorded Quake in History, 50 Birge, 4-5 PM: Only one lesson I draw from these things–move away from California until the next monster strikes.
University Baroque Ensemble, Morrison Hall, 4:30 PM: “If it ain’t baroque, don’t fix it.” (you kids better know where that line is from)
Religion: Can we talk about God? Devotion and extremism in the modern age, International House, 7-9 PM
: As long as God’s talking with us, then yes, we can talk.
Abroad in Asia, sponsored by APA, 110 Wheeler, 7:30. Want to go to Asia? Or just drool over Zook? Your chance is here.
