Cal to the Armed Forces Bowl

The BCS looks like it’s snubbed Arizona State, sending them to the Holiday Bowl to face Texas. East coast bias strikes again! Thanks again Tom Hansen, you worthless douchebag. Enjoy rubbing one out to your precious volleyball matches.

That leaves the following projections.

Holiday: ASU
Sun: Oregon
Emerald: Oregon State
Las Vegas: UCLA
Armed Forces: Cal

It’s seemingly the appropriate fate for our team. At least Forsett gets a homecoming. Feel bad for ASU though.

Who’s up for a trip to Dallas?

I've heard alot of projects from SI and from Rivals.com that our "sturdy" Golden Bears will end up in Las Vegas. I think that the Bruins did play their several years ago which may be the reason that they may pick us over UCLA. I certainly hope so...because either way I'm going (I enjoy pain as you can tell) but I'd much rather go to Vegas than Fort Worthless.

It is confirmed to be the Armed Forces. Cal has accepted the bid.

is anyone actually gonna want to travel to watch this team play? even our last win, at home against washington state, was one of the most boring 4 hours of football I have ever seen.

here's to hoping tedford doesn't take another job offer and brings us a team with some fire next year.

but don't dwell too long, our basketball team is 5-0! GO BEARS!

ASU got jobbed, but I can't blame that on Hansen. Blame the Orange Bowl for selecting an entirely undeserving Kansas team. I'm almost positive the Fiesta Bowl woulda taken Arizona State if they coulda, but alas, the choice was out of their hands.

The Orange Bowl? I'm pretty sure the Rose Bowl is at fault for taking Illinois when Georgia was ripe for the picking. Even if the Orange Bowl hadn't picked Kansas, the choice would have been for Mizzou. But the Pac-10 invisibility certainly hurt ASU's chances.

Not a terribly big deal. I feel bad for the Sun Devils, but they didn't beat a ranked opponent either.
