Updated Pac-10 Helmet Schedule
Tennessee and UCLA rescheduled their matchup to Labor Day, so the original Pac-10 helmet schedule had to be updated. I have a feeling I’ll be updating this about ten more times before the season starts, but no biggie.
Again, you can click on the image above for something visually readable, and you can also download it as an Excel file by right-clicking on the link at the end and choosing “Save Link As”, which gives you the option to click on the helmets for direct links to buying tickets for most games. Enjoy.
EDIT: My bad–I forgot to say that Oregon St. and Stanford are facing one another on Thursday night, opening night. That’s fixed now in the uploaded version. Sorry about that.

you might have talked about this when you first posted the schedule, but i don’t remember it- why isn’t big game the last game of the season this year? that just feels inherently wrong.

Hey Lindsay,
I think the Big Game was originally scheduled for 11/22 and was the original last game of the season, but that only allowed us one bye week. Rescheduling the Washington game for the last week of the season allows us three bye weeks.
The reason we haven’t switched the Big Game and the Washington game around is because we’d have to make some alterations in Stanford and Washington State’s schedules too. And it just gets really messy. It’s still really early though, and it’s very possible more changes could be made.

the big game doesn’t have to be the last game of the season… in fact, it usually isn’t.. the bowl game is usually after the Big Game… Don’t think it affects the rivalry at all… plus having that extra bye is so much smarter than having huge stretches like Stanford and Wazzu.

by last game i meant last real season game (versus bowl game)

Again, I think Tedford prefers three bye weeks compared to the one he’d get with the original Big Game date. It’s a little unconventional, but hey, the later the season goes the better, right?
